Tibiao, Antique is a stop-over you should not miss when exploring the province of Antique in the Philippines. Set on a roadside in Tibiao sits this mystical inn that offers to cook you, with a corresponding fee.

The recipe goes something like this: The people in-charge will pour water and some leaves into the “kawa”, which means pot in English. Tossing of dried coconut leaves underneath the kawa will start the fire, and then when the water starts to simmer, they will ask you to step inside for you will be the “main ingredient”. Staying still for one hour and enjoying the Kawa hot bath will make you feel relaxed.

It sounds crazy but the strange recipe and the experience that one gets has been successfully bringing this inn an influx of tourists, since its birth in 1996.
